The
RadioLink T6HP 2.4 GHz, 6 channel, 6 model radio system |
Most
of us realise that the radio system we choose to use with our
helicopters is a very important choice, even if we have bought
a helicopter that comes with a radio such as the ESKY range of
helicopters.
The
problem with the ESKY radio is that it is very much built down to to
a price, and lacks almost any form of configuration options
whatsoever. This makes it very UNSUITABLE for flying
helicopters, and particularly for new pilot who are trying to learn
to fly a helicopter.
Now
probably the best known (computerised) radio is the Spektrum DX6i,
which large numbers of helicopter pilots will tell you is a really
great radio. The downside is that it costs around £132 - £135,
which we all recognise as being is a lot of money, especially if you
have just bought a helicopter without a radio system. Well,
you can buy the Esky Radio separately, but this will still cost you
around £62-£65 for a radio with reciever (Rx) that offers very
little, and is well known to be unreliable. I
can now offer a better solution at very little more cost than the
ESKY radio system. For
only £77.00
I can
supply you with the Radiolink T6HP 2.4 GHz 6 channel radio
and 6 channel receiver (Rx). This
radio has a great many of the configuration features provided by the
DX6i, and even allows you to store and manage up to 6 different
model setting entirely independently of each other. It provides both
Normal & "stunt" curves for throttle and pitch,
Throttle hold, End Point setting, Sub trim setting, gyro setup and
Dual rates All
adjustments are made in the radio itself using the small screen
shown at the top, which is totally adequate. So
why not get yourself a REALLY GOOD RADIO for almost HALF THE PRICE OF A
Spektrum DX6i, and only about a tenner more than the Esky radio
would cost you??
