HITEC HS65MG servos

Hitec are a major manufacturer of "high End" servos, which are fairly pricey, and have over time been quoted as being very good servos, especially for the Tail servo on helicopters.

However, it seems that together with many other manufacturers  today, they are cutting back on not only QA, but also on the quality of the products they produce.

There have been quite a few reports recently (August 2009) of these servos simply failing after a very short life.
