This is where you spend a
day with me to learn everything I can teach you about setting up
helicopters to ensure that they fly as well as possible.

The major aim of this site is to provide help and training to new pilots (and some
not so new) with a one stop location for loads of good information and help on anything to do with
RADIO CONTROLLED helicopters.
From
this site you can download all of my FREE tutorials covering building &
rebuilding, setting up and flying Radio control helicopters. All
of the tutorials are in PDF format, so you simply need the free Adobe Acrobat
reader to view them.
In
addition to the tutorials, there are a great many other items on the site that I
hope will be of
interest to you as an R/C helicopter pilot or builder, as this site is
destined to be THE ONE STOP location for all those hard to find bits of
information, plus links to good sources of parts and other information.
The Tips & Tricks section
has loads of really useful information covering everything to do with
helicopters, so make sure you don't miss it. CLICK ON THIS LINK TO GO

The site also contains two special items, aptly called the Wall of Shame, & the Wall
of Praise. These contain lists of products that YOU and
others feel are
either very good, or possibly very bad. Make sure you check them out and
add any products you feel warrant inclusion ion either Wall.
There are even some fully documented heli builds that may
interest you. The last major project was the pretty large .91 Webra Nitro
engined
version of the Vario McDonnell-Douglas
MD900 NOTAR helicopter in UK Air Support colours. This
was a 5 month building project.
I will be starting a step by step build of the Interceptor 400
helicopter, which is a new and pretty low cost, excellent helicopter for
both learning to fly and for aerobatics and advanced flying. The parts
for the Interceptor are low cost and
easy to obtain.
If
you have any comments on anything on this site, please do let me know,
as I always welcome comments, ideas, suggestions, critiques, corrections
etc.
Another new service I am hoping to offer is to be able to
supply GOOD second hand helicopters for learners to use to learn to
hover and fly circuits etc at very reasonable prices. To do so I need
reasonable condition second hand helicopters that I can repair,
refurbish or whatever and then recycle them to new pilots.
So if you have such a helicopter lying around, please think about
donating it to the site. Or even, depending on the type and condition, I
may be able to offer to purchase a few of them from you - if the price
is right !
There
is a huge amount of useful information on this site, so please check the various
links on the left. The site is still in it's early days of development,
and is growing rapidly every day, so please come back regularly to see what is new.
I
regularly frequent various RC helicopter forums, such as Heliguy.com,
rcheliaddict.co.uk, rc-mad.co.uk as well as some others that I visit
less frequently. In all forums my handle is CHOPPERADDICT, or if I
could not get that, I use CHOPPRADDICT (without the E) or
CHOPPER-ADDICT.
Why
not check in to these forums and join in the fun of helping others in
the RC helicopter fraternity...
